In the Summer of 2009, my architecture class went on a trip to the wonderful continent of Europe. We visited Italy, France, England, Belgium and Sweden. The purpose of the trip was to learn about the origins of Western Architecture. Various venues withing these countries were visited in order to get a broad understanding of architecture and how it worked in different landscapes and environments.
